"Welfare" (2003) is a dark bay gelding descendent from Pacific, also known as Broere Pacific, ridden by Wout Jan van de Schans (NED) . Pacific was one of the most winning horse in Europe in his years of jumping. He is giving his strong work ethic and commitment to his offspring and we can see these qualities back in Welfare.
Welfare is currently leased. He will be available November 2018.
"Welfare" achieved quite some results in the time Andrew is showing him since halfway 2013. In the beginning they managed to win the $30,000 Las Vegas Speed Classic. Besides that they had a 6th place in the World Cup in Del Mar (USA) and a win in the 1.40 LA National (USA). In may/june 2014 he was very succefull in Canada with a second place in the World Cup in Langley and 3 placings out of 4 5* competitions in Spruce Meadows. "Welfare" and Andrew continued their price giving results in Wellington 2015 with 5 placing in the top 4 including a win in a 1.45 speedclass. After a small break coming to Europe he claimed another win in the 1.45 CSI3* Bethune (FRA). Good results kept on coming during 2015 with a highlight in Samorin, winning 2 ranking classes.
