Zerly has been sold by Windsor Show Stables to McLain Ward.
SHALANNO FARMS owned, developed and competed Zerly as a 7 and 8 year old. Together they won the 7 Year Old Dutch Young Horse Championships and earned top prizes in 1.45 and 1.50 competitions as an 8 year old before being sold to Windsor Show Stables in a sale arranged by Alan Waldman.
At Windsor Show Stables where she was competed by Christine McCrea. Chris had success with Zerly winning two Ruby et Violette their first winter together, including the $125,000 WEF 9. The combination continued their success winning the $25,000 Grand Prix of North Salem, 2nd the Esso Challenge World Cup Qualifier at Spruce Meadows and 1st in the TD Cup at Spruce Meadows.
